Will a graphics card with DDR-2 work with a motherboard with DDR memory?

    Video memory does not need to be the same type as system memory, and a video card with DDR2 video memory will work in a computer with DDR system memory. As of 2010, high-end video cards have DDR5 memory, while motherboards use DDR3 memory.
