What is the difference between space science, cosmology, and astronomy?

    Their meanings all sound pretty close, but...

    SPACE SCIENCE tries to figure out everything about outer space and how we can use it.

    Major space sciences are Astronomy, Astrophysics, Exobiology (study of life in space or on other planets), Microgravity Environment and Plasma physics.

    ASTRONOMY is one of the Space Sciences. It's a branch of physics that studies everything in the universe except Earth.

    COSMOLOGY tries to figure the history, structure and dynamics of the universe. "Dynamics" would mean how things move and interact. The study of the structure would overlap with some things that Astronomy studies.

    Astronomy is the study of stars and constellations.

    Space Science is the general study of outer space.

    I'm not too into cosmology.
