    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

Babysitting rates vary by region, number of children supervised, and age and experience of the babysitter. In 2010, these rates generally range around $10 per hour for one child. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics, the median pay for child-care workers in all fields was $9.12 in May 2008.
