    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

Turn on your HP DeskJet 600. Click the "Start" menu on the desktop and select the "Printers and Faxes" menu option. Click the "Settings" menu if "Printers and Faxes" is not immediately visible. Right-click the printer icon for your DeskJet 600, then click "Properties" from the menu. Choose the "Device Settings" tab and click the "Job Timeout" entry field. Use your arrow keys or the number pad to change the number of seconds before the printer times out. Click "OK" to save the settings.
