Is a safety (or suicide) squeeze considered a "sacrifice bunt" when scoring for the batter, thereby not constituting an at-bat?

The pitcher throws ball four after he has thrown strike three (umpire has lost count). Is the batter save at first or out if appealed.

Batter swings at third strike and misses, but catcher drops ball, which batter knocks fair on follow through. Catcher throws him out. Call?

You're reading After the infield fly rule has been invoked, the fielder drops the fly. Do the runners need to tag up anyway or can they just proceed as if there were a ground ball?

This is correct. The batter is out. If the ball was caught, they would have to tag.

True, but unlike a ground ball the runners have to be tagged out, they can not be out on a force play.
