    The Mazda RX-8 MT gets 16 miles per gallon in the city and 22 miles per gallon on the highway, according to Mazda. The Mazda RX-8 AT has the same miles-per-gallon rating as the MT in the city, but gets 23 miles per gallon on the highway.
