Type the entire transcribed report. Use your word processor's function to do calculation of how many characters, including spaces, are in the report (usually under "tools" and "word count"). If the electronic form of the report is not available, count the characters manually.
Divide the number of characters by 65 and the total will be the gross number of lines in the transcription report. Regardless of how many blank or partially full lines of typing are on the page, 65 characters constitute a gross typed line of transcription.
