Ensure that the Asus laptop has a charged battery or is connected to a proper power adapter. Shut down the laptop by pressing the power button.
Press the power button to turn the laptop on again. As the laptop boots, it will go through two to three start-up screens. Press the "Delete" (DEL) key on the keyboard repeatedly to access the BIOS.
Stop pressing the "Delete" key once the BIOS screen appears. If the computer progresses past the start-up screens without going to the BIOS settings, reboot the computer and try to access the BIOS again, using the "Insert" (INS) key instead of the "Delete" key.
