I have a 55" Hitachi Ultra Vision TV. All of the sudden the screen took on a weird shape and the picture is pincushioned with a one inch border of red on it. How can I fix this?

  My Hitachi TV turns itself off after about 30 seconds. The standby light stays on but I have to switch off at power button, leave for 5 seconds and on again to get it on again. There are no weird sounds when it happens and remote is OK. Any ideas?
