    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

    Netgear

Open a browser and enter 192.168.1.1. Click "Wireless Settings." In the "Security Options" menu, select "WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy)." Select "Automatic" in the "Authentication Type" drop-down menu. Select "64 bit" in the "Encryption Strength" drop-down menu. This will require the customer to use a 10-digit encryption key. Enter a 10-digit number in the field beside "Key 1." Click "Apply."

    D-Link

Open a browser and enter 192.168.0.1. Click the "Wireless Tab." Next to "WEP," click "Enabled." Select "64 bit" in the drop-down menu beside "WEP Encryption." This will require the customer to use a 10-digit encryption key. Next, select "ASCII" in the "WEP Mode" drop-down menu. This will allow the customer to use all numbers and letters for their WEP or encryption key. Click "Key 1" and enter 10 letters or numbers that can be used as the security key. Finally, click "Apply."

    Belkin

Open a browser and enter 192.168.2.1. Click "Wireless." Select "64 bit WEP" in the "Security Mode" drop-down menu. Enter a 10-digit number in the field beside "Key 1" or enter a passphase in the field beside "Passphase." Click "Apply."
