Question

Help answer this question below.

The owners manual for my home theater speaker amp said to run off the "A" front speakers. The 4 pair of speakers running off the amplifier only read the front channel sounds. How do I get full sound from the receiver to the speakers?

I assume that you have surround and you know how to switch it over to surround. But just incase try switching it to full surround. But if that is not the problem and your rear speakers aren't getting the volume that you would like then upgrade your wire size. Most factory systems come with the minimum wire size you will be amazed the difference after changing it!

Assuming you have a surround sound receiver (speaker connections for front A and/or B, rear, and center) you would need to hook up your rear speakers to the Rear Left and Right outputs and make sure you are in a surround sound sound mode such as ProLogic or Dolby Digital. Next make sure all of the speakers are turned on by going to speaker setup in the receiver's menu.

If you do not see a logo on the front of your receiver that says "Dolby" then you probably do not have a surround sound receiver.
