Short-track speedskater Apollo Anton Ohno and long track speedskater Chad Hedrick tied for the most medals won by a United States athlete at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Turin, Italy. Ohno won one gold and two bronze medals; Hedrick won a gold, silver and bronze medal.
