A recent study was conducted by Avalon, a global size and fit expert company with the largest database of body scan research, that reported the average height of Chinese men to be 5 feet, 8 inches. This study involved scanning over 28,000 Chinese people in four regions of the country. The results of the scan showed that perhaps the average height of Chinese men is taller than the average height of 5 feet, 6 inches that is reported by other statistics. Most Asian guys i met, Chinese and vietnamese rages from about 5'5 - 5'8 in height. That scale, but asians who grew up in the western world appears to be slightly taller than back in their home country.
