  • It really depends what kind of birth control you're talking about. The Birth Control pill, patch and shot are all different. Each brand of these can vary. I would advise you talk to your doctor about your variety of birth control. They will be able to advise you as to what to do if there is any sort of vitamin depletion.
  • I'm on the birth control shot and it's now recommended that I take calcium. They didn't tell me this a few years ago, so I'm assuming they've recently discovered this. I'm assuming that applies for birth control pills too, but you probably wouldn't need as much.
  • No, combination birth control pills do not reduce the body of vitamins if you are having your proper diet. Oestrogen-progesterone are combination pills. However pills with only one hormone may have long term effects requiring supplementation. If you are planning to take the pills on long term basis , then you should ask the gynecologist as there may be requirements for some minerals
  • NONE= VITAMINS ARE'NT GOOD FOR ANYONE, OR SO A NEW STUDY HAS SHOWN. FOR THOSE THAT WERE INFATUATED WITH HEALTH, WAS'NT THE VITAMINS BUT THE MENTAL ATTITUDES THAT DROVE THEM TO HEALTHY LIVING, GOOD EATING, EXCERSIZE. BUT VITAMINS ARE AND HAVE BEEN A NON HEALTHY PART OF ANYONES LIFE EXCEPT THOSE THAT SOLD THEM, LIKE MONEY.
