If you lose weight by exercising regularly and eating healthy foods, how much weight could one expect to lose in 6 months?

    It depends on how heavy you are from the beginning. If you are 220lbs, 6', you can lose 20-30lbs. It's healthier to lose it gradually than a lot in a short period of time so you won't put the weight back on.

    This depends on how much you weigh to start with... In a weight loss program, aim for loosing between 2 and 5 pounds per month. You can lose more, however, you should then consider combining weight loss with a "detox diet". Also, certain exercises build muscle, which is heavier than fat. Eating healthy is not specific enough. Best to avoid cooked foods, meats and processed foods, alcohol and caffienated beverages. Loosing weight too quickly can stress your organs because fat stores toxins. Burning fat off in exercise or by diet releases the toxins to the body. Drinking lots of water and herbal teas can mitigate this problem, but your body could still end up detoxing through your skin.
