Help answer this question below.
Libido (sexual desire) varies from person to person, and it's different during each phase of life. There is no normal amount of sex; every person has her own specific sexual needs. In most instances, libido is highest in late adolescence and begins to decline slowly as a person ages. A loss of sexual desire can be indicative of underlying health problems. If a person who had a high sex drive suddenly loses his interest in sex, this could be cause for concern. Loss of sexual desire is a symptom of many diseases, such as depression, hormonal imbalances, exhaustion and cardiovascular disease. It may also be an adverse effect of many drugs, such as antidepressants, anti-hypertensives and alcoholic drinks. Low libido can be normal. If low libido isn't sudden in its onset, it can be a normal characteristic of a person. If the change in libido is sudden, it may be a symptom of an underlying health problem. In that situation, a medical professional should be consulted.
