    According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 524.9 km sq (202.7 square miles). 524.8 km sq (202.6 mi sq) of it is land and 0.1 km sq (0.04 mi sq) of it (0.01%) is water.!!

    Boulder City maintains strict controls on growth, limited to 120 building permits per year. Hotels are also restricted to no more than 35 rooms. These restrictions are defined in the http://66.113.195.234/NV/Boulder%20City/index.htm city code Chapter 11, Section 41.
