I am not sure. I am married with 3 children, and the Air Force said that I cannot apply to join because I have more than one child. The Air Force's idea of a "family" is a spouse and one child. I find it rather distasteful too considering how many members of my family served in the Air Force.

Yes, the cut off age is 35. What branch were you considering?

Yes he can but you better make the decision to do it fast, they change the criteria to enlistment quite often, talk to a recruiter if your serious.

He can. I believe the cut off age is 34. It may not be the wisest thing to do if it's a job you're looking for. Privates do not make enough to support two people never mind seven. If the recruiter had any scruples and knew what his family situation was he would not have him enlist. A call to the recruiter will clear up a lot of your questions. Things may have changed since I was in. But I'm willing to bet not by much.

Yeah, but should he? I don't think so, unless he needs the job to support his family.
