Can I be held legally/financially responsible, if I'm in a "Free Trial" if the CS number they needed to call to cancel was disconnected?

    Tell your credit card company or the bank you used to "hold" your trial. It could be a scam, tell them their number is disconnected. They can tell you what to do from there.
