Next to what, dking? Air?
Thedre is scarcity of water now, quality-wise. Much of water is now polluted. Even if we have an abundance of it quantiattively, it's not anymore that useful.
Next to what?
We can't drink sea water, and it costs ALOT to purify! So what are you planning on doing with it? FRESHWATER is definately not our biggest comodity! AT ALL.
In alot of Asian countries, it's easier to get hold of Coca cola than fresh water. According to my Indian friend's parents...
Wow. I'm disturbed at how ignorant most people are as to the importance of water in sustaining life. No wonder our supply is so heinously polluted and scarce.
It's being abused by these ignorant people.
you thinks that's bad , you should research the "carbon market " plans in the making .
I live by the sea in rural Canada I have my own well which is always fill. I have land enough to grow what I want ( only as a hobby mind you as a green thumb I'm not) I shouldn't let the secret out but the idea of the increasing urbanization of humanity has been a failure for the earth and the souls of men.......
Yep. That's why the Chinese invaded Tibet- the Himalayas give rise to the Ganges and most of Asia's major rivers. Control the source, and you control the flow. They didn't go there because they enjoy being miserable and freezing their arses off.
So, does that mean that the Arab nations will then be invading the West for it? Kewl!
Yes.
Yay Oregon!

You're reading Do you realize that water is the next biggest commodity?

Heh, yeah right, if you're mentally deficient enough to consider sustaining life as not being "that useful".

you got me wrong there, Anonymous. I never said it's not useful. We really need water, 3/4 of our body is made up of H2O. I said we have a problem now with our water supply which is actuallly true, don't you think? Man has been polluting it for years that the quality is compromised even if we have the quantity (which is useless if polluted) and we need to do something about it.When we talk of water supply, Anonymous, we deal with its quality and quatity. Quality of H2O is very important for drinking purposes otherwise we'll all get sick.
So I'm not mentally deficient at all. Say sorry, hahahaha. Thanks anyway.
