Help answer this question below.
Im all for a flat tax but it will never happen. Too many government officials would lose their do nothing jobs. So why not continue bilking the public out of their hard earned money
Perhaps.....why should you get out of paying your fair share?
You WOULD be taxed 10 times as much. If you were taxed 35% of $10,000 or 35% of $100,000 it's still 35%. 35% of $100,000 is ten times more than 35% of $10,000
I want the Fair Tax. You are only taxed on what you spend. This brings everyone into the system. Anyone being paid under the table, any money made illegally. Does not matter. IF you spend you pay.
Yes.... According to our current administration.
That depends. Do you make 10 times what it costs to live a reasonable life style? Do you expect someone making 8 dollars an hour to pay the same amount of taxes that someone making 80 dollars an hour does? Why do you need 80 dollars an hour? What do you do that is so important that you deserve that much an hour? How do you spend your money? Do you buy American made products supporting your local economy, or do you buy a house in the French Riviera? Do you donate to charity? Do you make your money off of stocks your parents gave you? Do you work 80 hours a week to generate that 80 dollars an hour average? Without details it's impossible to say.
