Well, I dont know, but if you're asking for yourself, I would advise waiting , before jumping into a job. You have school and teenage life to worry about right now, and work can wait. I believe you can get a work permit when you're 16, and work limited hours in the US, according to the child labor law.
There's nothing wrong with wanting to earn a little spending cash, but dont be in such a hurry to grow up. The adult world isnt so much fun that you have to rush it !!

I'd try fast food, small shops, day care centers, things of that nature where the work you do would be closely supervised.
Also, some schools keep a database of things like that in the guidance office. In my area you have to have a permit to work if you're in school at the same time, I had to get mine from my school, and they do a job-seeking/counselling thing prior to granting the permit.
