Being afforded the opportunity to work in your dream job is rare for most people. Some spend their entire lives struggling to achieve that dream, but never quite reach it. The hard work and dedication it took for you to achieve your dream job is reason enough to stay on board.
In some cases, people who actually manage to achieve their dream job sacrifice quite a bit to reach it, and even more to maintain it. If you are currently making little to no money at your dream job and struggling to make ends meet, it may be time to find another source of income. BizCommunity notes that the average adult will go through five to seven career changes throughout the course of his lifetime, so don't be afraid to try something new.
Actually getting to work in one's dream job is a rare experience. If you have worked hard and are enjoying the benefits of the career of your choice, keep at it. If your dream job is bringing in very little income, however, or if it's not as satisfying as you imagined it would be, it may be time to move on.
