give me your opinion lets say the holocaust were to happen again or a tragic event to its similarity is it the duty of other countries where this event is not happening to get involved if so to what extent ?

I would hope that the United States would join other countries in standing against genocide and provide what resources it could to stop it.
History since WW II (Cambodia, East Timor, multiple African countries, the Iran-Iraq war, etc.) indicates that the US government is not willing to do this unless there is some other geopolitical factor (usually oil) involved.
