    Asker's Pick

Selected by the asker, RosieGHM Jetpacker. (What's this?)

It depends on the person for me. I have a friend who seems to show up for a few weeks, then dissapears for maybe a year. There doesn't seem to be all that much reason behind it, though I suspect she does have reasons. She never really asks for anything. It still kind of sucks though because I know it will not last and I always miss her so much when she is gone.

There are a few other people though who I know just want something. I'm kind of guilty of dissapearing from people's lives myself, and usually I dissapear because I feel I have done something stupid and feel kind of ashamed to face my friends. When I reappear usually what I want is forgiveness, or some kind of emotional support.
