haven't been to that many, but savannah georgia is beautiful.
-
Philadelphia, PA. Because it's close to me and they have some really cool stores and stuff there. Plus GREAT food!
-
New Orleans. Best music, best food, best architecture, best people. Yes, it's still hurting, but for the most part anyone visiting would never know. Just an amazing atmosphere you won't find anywhere else outside of old Europe.
-
I love the Atlanta, GA area. Lots to do. Great weather. Beautiful countryside.
-
New York! Its the best because you can choose between a million things. NY is never boring- there's Broadway, Central Park, Battery Park, Madison Square Gardens, Times Square, I could go on and on. I love NY- I am about 2 hours away and go every chance I can manage.
-
Memphis Tenn. Beale Street was the most awesome thing I have ever seen. And F-ING GOOD BBQ!!!!!!!
-
I do not know too many, but right now it would have to be New York. It has everything.
-
So far it has been Atlanta. I'm not from here but I have lived so many places in the US this has been the best over all. My second would be San Antonio. I heard they cleaned up the river walk.
-
Los Angeles.
-
It used to be Orlando, and it still sort of is, but the crime rate has gone up so much, it is not as attractive to me anymore.
-
Washington, DC. I love the history and the museums, the legacy of so many public servants who gave all of themselves to make this nation and this experiment in democracy happen. It makes me wish that today's politics would make one feel like that, but I am still very proud to be an American when I visit DC.

Florence, Oregon
-
Kallua, Hawaii

Atlanta doensn't have as much history as say NYc or Philly but the great part about it is that its establishing its history right now. That to me sets it aside from other places. There are 100,000 new people coming here every year. The city is growing and being part of any kind of growth is awesome. Also the parking is great. I have been here two years and only once have I had to cirle the block for a spot. All the other times I have found it the first time.

maryland, baltimore... somewhere around there... cause i have a great, great, great friend there :D

I haven't been to that many cities in the US. Of the one's I've been to, New York is so full of nightlife that it's on the top of my list. I also like Cleveland for being one of the cleanest and most modern cities I've seen anywhere in the world, with a convenient mass transit system. I came *this* close to moving there for an ex-gf a few years ago...
-
Chicago for big cities. Branson, Mo. for tourist towns.
-
It's a toss up between San Francisco and L.A.
-
SAN FRANCISCO baby!!!!!

Los Angeles because that's where Answerbag is :) I'm also planning to visit it once I have enough money for an LA trip.
-
Portland, OR because I want to move there one day.
-
Chicago we have so much fun there.
-
It really depends on what mood I'm in. I love New York. Atlanta is tons of fun, and Miami is freaking crazy.
-
Phoenix. What a coincidence, as I live here.
-
My favorite is still New York City. I've only been there once. Hope to visit again, but it left a great impression on me. I thought the people were so friendly, helpful, and interesting. The funny thing about getting back here to Texas was that everything seemed to move terribly slow. People in New York rushed everywhere and so we were used to rushing. We were so amazed! Plus there is so much to see and do in N.Y.
-
Winthrop Maine. Peaceful, beautiful, small town.
-
NYC, sorry i wouldnt want to live there but its awesome to visit
-
Johnstown, Pennsylvania
-
New York City.
-
St. Louis baby!

For friendly people at the bars after work and beyond...subdued mode....Chicago. For the finest dining and exquisite service with active, friendly bars afterwards...New Orleans pre-Katrina. (Can't say, now, I haven't been back since Katrina.) For entertainment, glitz and gambling...Vegas, of course. For non-stop EVERYTHING imaginable...New York City.
-
New York City
-
philladelphia
-
Chicago. I've never been to NYC.
-
It used to be New Orleans. I loved renting a place in the Garden District and hanging out in the French Quarter. Crime was high, but there was a real charm in those 2 areas. Luckily most of the city that was worth seeing wasn't effected too badly by Katrina and the areas of the French Quarter that were have come back pretty strongly. The crime, however, is much worse. Now, I'd probably pick Savannah. It's a very charming city.
-
Honolulu, great weather all the time, close to Asia, and friendly people.
