The healing process really does vary from person to person. I got mine done the same day as my friend and I was good to go about a month after and she had difficulty for about 3 months. Do you have any previous piercings? How long did those take you to heal? Chlorine was very irritating to my friend after she got hers done so I would really consider the timing of this piercing...

I would NOT recommend getting them pierced. Likei answered in your last question... I had mine since the very beginning of July, and I went swimming a couple weeks ago (after they seemed healed) and they got infected. I had to go to the doctor and get antibiotics. They told me that I should NOT swim at all until I've had them for AT LEAST 6 months. If I were you, I would truly wait. Nipple infections can spread and get really bad really quickly. It's possible for it to travel through your entire breast and into your lungs within a 72 hour period. And it's really easy to get gangrene that way.

Not had mine done, but I would advise against it. Are the benefits really worth having metal through your nipple?
