It's a tough situation. From what I see, it seems as though your mom hasn't really been part of your life for a while, but now wants you to move away with her. I don't want to influence your decision or anything, but I would think really hard about this before you decide. Does your mom really want to be a part of your life again? If so, would she stay where you live to do so? It really sounds like you don't want to have your mom back in your life just yet, but don't want to hurt her. Just keep in mind that you only live once, and you shouldn't live that life by others standards if it won't make you happy.

Im not sure if she really wants to stay around for the rest of her life. Shes acting like it. She wouldnt stay because its hard to find a job here, i found a job perfectly fine. She hasnt been around for 2 years because of herion and then rehab and then relapsing. Im afraid shes gonna relapse and lose everything if i move and then ill be taking care of her. The way her lifestyle is that she can be fine for a few months and then dissapear for a few months. Her last real job was 2003.

well, it really sounds like your mom needs more help than you or she can provide. I'm not even close to qualified to give you the best advice for this situation. If I were you, I would look up hotlines in your area that you can call. They would have people who can help you much better than I. They probably deal with people in your situation every day. Good luck!
