Help answer this question below.
The Chevy Tracker uses a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine or a 2.5 liter V6 engine. The Tracker was introduced in 1999 as a new design, but a similar vehicle, known as the Geo Tracker was available until 1998. The engines in the Chevy Tracker were available with a four-wheel drive system, designed to improve off-road performance. You can identify the engine by checking under the hood. It will be located on the valve cover. You can also check the Catalyst information sticker located under the hood. The four cylinder vehicle offers fuel economy of up to 23 miles per gallon on the highway, when equipped with two-wheel drive and a manual transmission. Two-wheel drive V6 models with an automatic transmission can achieve up to 20 miles per gallon on the highway. While the Chevy Tracker's engine can accelerate quickly, avoid making quick maneuvers while driving at high speeds. The Tracker is top-heavy and prone to rollovers. When the Tracker was introduced as a Chevy model in 1999, it was available only with a four-cylinder engine. From 2000 onward, the engine became available based on customer preferences.Benefits
