Help answer this question below.

an example from literature when this happens?

A and B are in relationship. B's friend C finds out A is cheating. C has to decide whether or not to tell B.

preferably the decision is that C tells B, B breaks up with A, and then B has a new better relationship.

actually the example can be from anything like music or movies.
