What makes a transmission slip?(other than a control module)

    Well...
    could be low fluid level, improper fluid,
    or worn out clutches/bands, which often leads to embrittled clutch/hydraulic servo seals.
    Could be an internal hydraulic leak, a worn pump, a weak pressure control spring...
    maybe even a worn out torque converter
