    Clear Casebacks

    Productdose.com states, Rolex has never manufactured watches with a clear caseback. "Skeleton" casebacks provide an easy way to tell if a Rolex is real or fake.

    Engraved Casebacks

    Qualitytyme.net explains, Rolex doesn't engrave the caseback with hallmarks, logos, or other designs. The exception being ladies' Rolex watches made prior to 1990. Unlike the counterfeit version, authentic Rolex watches typically display a smooth caseback.

    Holograms

    Greatguywatches.com states, authentic Rolex watches have a hologram-encoded sticker on the back of the watch. Viewing the sticker from different angles causes the appearance to change. Additionally, the Rolex crown rests slightly above the watch reference number.

    Triplock Crown Seal
