2002 mitsubishi lancer es Enghine Knocking only when i put it in drive just replaced front enghine mount where could the knocking be coming from enghine oil is fine, tranny fluid is fine! only knocks when its in drive not park or neutral o

I own a 2002 mitsubishi lancer i just replaced the front enghine mount the enghine still makes a knocking/ rattling sound only when i put it in drive. i checked the other 2 mounts and there good to go! any idea's please help!

If you want a performance car with a stick, then save the money you spent on buying a slushbox. Sticks are cheaper; slushboxes are pricier AND you have to pay massive moolah to refit them if it's even possible. Just trade it if you want three pedals on the floor. It'll cost less and cause a LOT fewer problems.
