I've played both types, but I usually play electric. I'm into heavy metal, so there's not much acoustic there. I do dabble in some acoustic when I'm bored, though.

I play electric almost exclusively. I have a classical guitar, which I use to play classical pieces on, and occasionally to mess around when songwriting at home. I have never enjoyed or really responded to steel string acoustic guitar, though I admire people who can do great things with them.
