    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

Oils come from nuts, seeds and fruit. Vegetable oils include peanut, corn, soybean, canola and olive. Vegetable oil can be substituted for corn oil because they both have nearly identical properties and a neutral flavor. Vegetable oil can be a mixture of several oils, while corn oil is made completely from corn.
