    Great Answer

    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

    On One Hand: Chemical Fertilizers

Runoff from farms that use chemical fertilizers is high in nitrogen, which reduces the oxygen levels in the water and kills the fish. It also causes toxic algae blooms. Chemical fertilizers in fresh water supplies have been linked to deformities in frogs. The chemicals in these fertilizers are unsafe, making the water unfit for swimming and the fish (any left alive) unsafe to eat.

    On the Other: Organic Fertilizers

Organic fertilizer runoff is not nearly as dangerous or destructive as chemical fertilizer. Most organic fertilizer is in the form of natural compost or manure from organically fed livestock. The ingredients in these fertilizers will biodegrade into the soil, reducing runoff. The organic particles also attach to the soil, which further reduces runoff.

    Bottom Line

Chemical fertilizer runoff is deadly to fresh water environments, making the fish uneatable. It also makes the lake water unfit for swimming. Organic fertilizer doesn't have nearly the amount of runoff issues because it attaches to the soil, and contains no harmful ingredients. Fishing from a lake near organic farms is totally safe.

scientifically it has been proven that fish like salmon farmed fish is one of the most dangerous food to eat!for reasons due to chemicals thrown in the lake to make the fush grow faster and reproduce faster in addition to other things and if the fish doesnt live in its real habitat even the atmosphee can result in a quite unhelathy fish!
