A person is arrested at scene of crime for murder, whats the grounds for search warrant of his home if crime didnt happen there? (Student)

    need more evidence to tie him with another murder...? just because he was arrested there does not convict them if no eyewitness's....so motive and all the evidence you can get....can come possibly from the home, 1st place to start.....
