• All relevant to simplicity. All will be revealed. The bible is actually a scientific text. Not my problem it gets misperceived by wonder and fear. It is clear. If it is not simple it is not genius.

  I'm aware of no designations involving dinosaurs being referred to as 'dragons' in any historical account.
  
  The first documented finding of an icthyosaur by Mary Anning, nowhere did anyone refer to it as a "dragon".
  
  It's only a modern day assertion that dragons are lizards. Once again Larry doesn't do any research and gets huffy about his own lack of education.

  Dragon bone and tooth materials were obtained from the market place and analyzed by several Chinese institutes. The researchers were not able to assuredly identify most of the materials, but the following have been found:
  
  Elephants: from the ancient Stegodon (long-legged saber-toothed elephant) to the wooly mammoth (see Figure 1).
  Rhinos: mainly the long extinct rhino species, that were large, wooly, and had long double horns.
  Hipparion: an ancient three-toed horse; additionally, bones and teeth of early camels are found.
  Gazella: Gazelle were prevalent at the end of the ice age, hunted by humans. Other animals, such as mountain goats and sheep, deer, and buffalo also contribute to the fossil materials.
  So Gazelles, horses, and rhinos are now dragons?
  
  A turtle is NOT a dinosaur. Gazelles are NOT dinosaurs. Horses/Hipparions are not Dinosaurs. Rhinos are NOT dinosaurs.
