Yes - me and the wife have had "relations" on my old Honda, ( while it was parked of course...).

By "cycle", I assume you mean the "period" portion of the "cycle".

The cycle is about 28-29 days long, on average. During that time, ovulation occurs once. One ovary releases one egg, which can survive for about 12 to 24 hours before it is no longer viable. If it's not fertilized, it will be shed when the next menstrual period starts.

That would seem to make it only possible for a woman to get pregnant ONLY if she has sex on the day of ovulation, right?

    NOT TRUE.

Sperm can survive 3 to 5 days in cerivcal mucus. Which means a woman can get pregnant from a sexual act which occured up to 5 days BEFORE her ovulation...and one day after ovulation, given that the egg can survive about a day.

This means that there is a period of time of about one week out of four in a woman's cycle where she can become pregnant if she has sexx during that time.

And it's NOT during her menstrual cycle.

Now, there are rare exceptions to the rule. Women who have irregular cycles, for example are not a predictable. Stress and health issues may affect her cycle. Medication can affect her cycle.

yes, if you have a bifid uterus (a uterus in two parts, or with a wall between two uteri)... and different cycles for each. otherwise, it's quite impossible. you must understand that by the time you get your cycle, the egg is out of reach of the sperm, because it has already been expelled plus the fact that it's quite impossible to implant.
