You cant get 99 masterballs theres a cheat which makes a poke ball appear as a master ball. when you try to catch a pokemon press a then hold b aswell

The second answer is completely wrong. I did that and it didn't work. Do what the first one says.

The only way to do it is by using cheating devices, or by getting 98 people to trade pokemon to you that are holding masterballs, and then adding them to your one.....Just cheat... But why would you need that many? There are only a handful of legendaries in the game.
