A GMC SLE model is a mid-level package offered on all GMC vehicles. On pickup trucks, SLE models offer cloth seats and luxury appointments like automatic climate control. On crossovers like the Acadia and Terrain, the SLE is the entry-level trim, offering a range of interior options. SLE models feature cloth seats and AM/FM radios with CD players and XM Satellite Radio. All SLE models include OnStar's Safe and Sound package for one year after purchase. The SLE trim offers a cost-effective model that lets consumers step up to a professional grade GMC model without a significant price premium. Although GMC models in SLE trim cost more than competitors from other brands, even the most basic SLE trim vehicles offer more options than their Chevrolet stablemates. SLE trim levels are available on the Sierra, Canyon, Yukon, Acadia and Terrain. Before production ended in 2008, the Envoy also offered an SLE trim. A GMC SLE model can be identified by SLE badges on the vehicle. Pickup trucks include the SLE designation on the tailgate, next to the Sierra or Canyon model name, while all other models include the SLE designation on the C-pillar, behind the rear seat windows.Features
