Why are Scientologists always crossing the intersections of Cleveland and Fort Harrison in massive droves all the time in Clearwater Florida?

    Stop this crazy rumor-mongering.

    First of all, why did the Scientologist cross the road? To get to the other side.

    The Church of Scientology has their World Headquarters in Clearwater. They own several buildings, and these buildings are not currently interconnected like a college campus. Thus, when Church staff needs to go from work to study, or back from study to work, etc. they need to commute a few blocks from one building to another.

    It is hot in Clearwater, and Church staff are in a hurry. Which is probably why they don't smile. But seriously, I'm sure you can catch one of them smiling, or even cracking up at someone else's joke, etc. Scientologists are people like you.

    Also, worth keeping in mind:
    Most Scientologists are like me. They have a job or they're self-employed, they send their kids to school and to aikido or whatever, they're members of the PTA, etc. The specific Scientologists YOU are referring to are Church Staff - they are the equivalent to clergy in Catholic or other Churches.
