Sure, as a Psychologist I've sat in "THAT" big chair between session thinking oh man I've got minutes before the next screaming meme comes in and sits in the client chair...!!!...!!! It's horrific and then I'd breath deep and tell the front to send in my next appointment....!!! drive on man... today it's your JOB tomorrow it'll be your relationship, then it'll be your wife n kids... and a bunch of other predictable variations of the same...!!! In high school I'd just grab onto the arm rest of the school desk .. and ride the rush...!!!(Oops ...sometimes my tangents get away with me)... I'd get the girls to do my school work... but in the army well it's a different discipline...!!!
US, Army types well we've usually got two or three alternatives or contingencies...!!! We get bored with one eye open...!!! We compartmentalize the messed up parts and work with what is still alive and effective in surviaval...!!!

You know wellduh if you don't like the answers people give you don't have to read them. I didn't have a great life either but I don't blame it on other people. Dave Thomas started off as an orphan and he ended up a millionaire. Start improving your life and stop blaming others. I stand by my response and will continue to do so. I don't whine about my life and don't see why you think you should either.
