    Great Answer

    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

On One Hand: Women Have Better Memories In General

According to a University of Florida study, women have better memories when it comes to remembering where they put objects, lists, and names. Women also have better long term episodic memory, and a better memory of verbal or emotional events.

On the Other: Men Have Better Memories In One Aspect

Men have better memories of the spatial or visual aspect of events. This may be because male children are encouraged to play spatially, while girls play more emotional games.

    Bottom Line

In every area except visuospatial memory, women have better memories than men.
