What could cause my 1968 Mustang GT Cali Special to run rough and lose power for no apparent reason other than running out of gas? The engine is new.

    check your fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel injectors. Could also be the timimg. Are your ignition wires wired up correctly? There are many things that can cause the roughness you should go to a shop and pay to have them run diagnostics.
