Orange Terms of Use for McAfee Privacy Service
The McAfee Privacy Service enables Orange Members, amongst other things, to filter inappropriate internet content and protect personal identifiable information (the “Service”). Subject to the terms below, this Service is provided free of charge to all Orange Members who register for the Service by following the links below.
An Orange Member is a natural person who has registered with Orange for one of its Internet access services including but not limited to Orange Broadband, AnyTime, Pay As You Go (formerly No Ties) or HomeTime.
1. The Service is provided to you subject to you completing the registration process and accepting McAfee’s End User Licence Agreement, McAfee.com Privacy Policy and the following Terms of Use for the Service.
2. The Service is provided free of charge to Orange Members who register for the Service, however, subject to clause 3 below, Orange reserves the right to charge Orange Members for such Service.
3. In the event that Orange decides to charge a fee for the Service, you shall be provided with at least 14 days written notice and the option to terminate the Service if you do not wish to pay for the Service.
4. Orange reserves the right to withdraw, suspend and terminate the Service to Orange Members at anytime without cause on giving 14 days notice by email or such other durable medium as Orange considers appropriate.
5. In the event that your Orange Membership lapses or is terminated for any reason, Orange reserves the right to terminate the Service immediately.
6. You hereby acknowledge that the Service provided to you is operated by McAfee.com. Orange gives no representation or warranty that the Service will be error free or free from interruption or failure or that it is compatible with any particular hardware or software.
7. Orange to the maximum extent permitted by law, disclaim all warranties, terms and conditions, expressed or implied as to fitness for purpose or to merchantable quality of the Service.
8. Use of Data – The personal data that you provide during registration for the Service may be used by Orange subject to Orange Privacy and Cookie Policy (www.orange.co.uk/privacy). By accepting the these terms of use you hereby consent to Orange using your personal data to contact you by post phone and electronic mail (that is email, picture video and SMS) about; functionality changes to the Service; for billing and administrative purposes in connection with the Service; changes to terms of use; and advise you regarding the use of the Service or any service which may substitute, enhance or replace it.
9. Orange reserves the right to vary the terms of this agreement or the nature of the Service at any time and Orange will inform you of such changes through email, newsletter or such other medium as Orange considers appropriate.
