Why is USPS and DHL so much worse at delivering packages then UPS and FEDEX?

    If you spend the money to send your package express the usps is cheaper and guarantees it in 2-3 days depending if you ship before 3p.m. If they fail to do so they will refund your money...Does UPS offer this? NO. One other thing, I have been a mailman for 14yrs. and I deliver at least 1 time a week a ups or fedex package, why? Cause they make 2.00 off you and we deliver it.....

    I've never had a problem shipping packages with the USPS.

    Opinion?? Yes it is. There are lots of differences between these carriers including the rates, the timing, the places they go and what they will ship. I can't see anyone delivering a letter to Phoenix, AZ from Kansas City, KS in two days or less for the same price as the USPS. (and it may get there in one day)
