Question

Help answer this question below.

Are there any free U.S. map programs that I can download that would allow me to add little targets denoting site locations? e.g.I would be able to put a little dot on Knoxville, TN that says we have someone there, and a link to a detailed description.

Google Maps just added a new feature called My Maps. Here's what you can do:
Create and share personalized, annotated maps of your world. Mark your favorite places on your map. Draw lines and shapes to highlight paths and areas. Add your own text, photos, and videos. Publish your map to the web. Share your map with friends and family.

You have to have a Google account to save any maps you create. You can get more info here:

    I like this service: http://quikmaps.com/

Creating an account allows you to save, edit, and share your maps.

    Hope I've been some help.
