you cant only from ducks
Dismount it.
Get a footstool.
I rode an elephant and they had a little step
platform to get on and off it.
Reverse the getting on procedure.
Get down the same way that you got up there -- remember?
To get down using his trunk you have to first grasp one of his ears. I'd be careful on reaching inside it though because elephant ear wax is some nasty, smelly stuff and you don't know what might be living in there either.
Take the Tube down!
A parachute maybe? Oh... A step ladder!!!
Take a risk and jump
In the movie, Indianna Jones and The Temple of Doom, the elephants were trained to stick out their leg so you could get up and down. If your elephant-training skills are a little rusty, I would suggest investing in a very nice rope ladder (with tassels).
Ask it nicely...i swear it works.
Very carefully and watch for piles on the ground.
You don't. You get down from a goose.
Hold your breath and take a leap.
You slide down from the trunk.
