Cars have expiration dates. Not literally mind you but to an extent. If you got a brand new car and treated it perfectly : garage kept, not driven in snow or rain or on salty roads, had its fluids filled and changed regularly, avoided pot holes and 'pushing' it. Some parts will need replacement due to wear from age. But could last a lifetime. My fiance's car is 25 years old. A Trans Am. And I'm sure it could last us a GREAT deal longer, especially since his future is in mechanics. What kind of vehicle do you have?
Are you really curious about all this stuff or just trying to see how many questions you can ask? :-)

You're reading How long can I expect a 17yr old car to last if I treat it very carefully? It's in fair shape now with many new or fixed parts, etc.
